- Your Meta Business Suite login · Our Meta business portfolio ID from your project lead
To connect your website to your social media presence, whether that's installing the Meta Pixel to track conversions, syncing your WooCommerce catalog to Instagram Shopping, or verifying your domain, we need access to your Meta business portfolio (Meta used to call this Business Manager).
Quick summary
Sign in to Meta Business Suite and open Settings (the gear icon). Go to Users → Partners, add a partner, and choose the option to give a partner access to your assets. Enter the Chykalophia business portfolio ID (request this from your project lead), then grant us access to the assets we need: your Page, your ad account, your pixel or dataset, and your Instagram account.
Step-by-step instructions
Meta lets you share assets with another business as a "partner". This keeps your business data separate and secure.
Get our business portfolio ID. Ask your Chykalophia project lead for our Meta business portfolio ID number.
Open Meta Business Suite. Go to business.facebook.com and use the drop-down at the top left to select your company's business portfolio. Meta has retired the old Business Manager and Business settings, so a portfolio's settings now live in Meta Business Suite.
Navigate to Partners. Open Settings (the gear icon), then go to Users → Partners.
Add a Partner. Add a partner and choose the option to give a partner access to your assets.
Enter our ID. Paste the Chykalophia business portfolio ID into the field and continue.
Assign assets and permissions. You will see a list of your business assets. Select each one we need to work on and use the permission toggles to grant what your project lead asked for:
- Pages: your Facebook Page.
- Ad accounts (if applicable): the ad account running your campaigns.
- Pixels or datasets: the Meta Pixel on your website.
- Instagram accounts: the Instagram account linked to your business.
Meta's permission names vary by asset and change from time to time, so grant the lowest level that covers the work and ask us if a label isn't clear.
Assign the assets. Click Assign. Meta confirms with an Assets assigned message; click Done to close it.
Common questions
Why can't I just invite support@chykalophia.com?
A business portfolio doesn't share assets with an email address. The partner method shares them with another business, identified by its business portfolio ID, which is why your project lead gives you an ID number rather than an address.
What if I don't have a Meta business portfolio?
Many businesses only have a standard Facebook Page. If you do not have a business portfolio set up to hold your pixels, domains, and ad accounts, let your project lead know. We can help you create one to ensure your assets are properly protected and centralized.
