Give us access to your HubSpot account
How to add us as a user in HubSpot so we can connect forms, tracking, and CRM data to your website without exposing your whole sales pipeline.

HubSpot spans marketing, sales, and service in one platform, which makes access a little more sensitive than most tools — a full-permission user can see your entire pipeline. The good news is that HubSpot's permissions are unusually granular, so you can give us exactly what the website work needs.
Quick summary
Log in to HubSpot, click the settings icon, go to Users & Teams, and in the upper right click Add users → Create new. Enter support@chykalophia.com, assign a seat, and grant the Marketing permissions the work needs (Forms, Files, and the Website tools). Leave Super Admin unticked. You'll need Super Admin access yourself, or a role that includes adding and editing users.
Step-by-step instructions
Log in to HubSpot. Go to app.hubspot.com and sign in.
Open account settings. Click the settings icon in the top navigation bar.
Go to Users & Teams. In the left sidebar menu, choose Users & Teams.
Create the user. In the upper right, click Add users → Create new, then enter support@chykalophia.com in the right-hand panel.
Assign a seat. Pick the seat that matches the work. A View-Only Seat can't edit anything, so it isn't enough for us to build or fix your forms and pages — see the seat question below.
Set permissions. Expand Choose how to set access and pick Start from scratch rather than a template, then expand Choose permissions. For typical website work, turn on Marketing → Forms and Marketing → Files, plus Website pages and Design tools under Website tools if we're editing HubSpot-hosted pages. Add Contacts access under CRM only if the project requires reading CRM records.
Send the invitation. Tick the box to send an email invite, click Next, review the seat and permissions, and finish adding the user. We'll accept it with 2FA enabled and confirm in ClickUp.
Super Admin is more than we need
It's tempting to tick Super Admin to avoid permission errors. Please don't — it grants billing, user management, and full CRM export. If we hit a permission wall, we'll tell you exactly which toggle to flip.
Common questions
What is the HubSpot tracking code, and do you need it?
It's a small snippet, unique to your HubSpot account, that lets HubSpot monitor your website traffic. Without it on a page, HubSpot can't report traffic, page views or visitor activity for that page, and it won't capture submissions from non-HubSpot forms. If you want HubSpot analytics or form-fill attribution on your site, we need to install it — usually via Google Tag Manager or your theme's header. It collects visitor data, so it interacts with your cookie consent banner.
Can you see my deals and sales pipeline?
Not unless you turn on Deals access for us on the CRM tab. Deal visibility is set per CRM object there, and the Marketing permissions described above don't include deals or the sales tools on the Sales tab.
Should forms be HubSpot forms or WordPress forms?
It depends. HubSpot forms hand you attribution and automation with no extra plumbing, but they load HubSpot's own JavaScript and are fiddlier to style. Native forms are easier to design and lighter to load; with the HubSpot tracking code installed, HubSpot can still capture their submissions, and on WordPress HubSpot recommends its own plugin for this. We'll recommend based on how much you rely on HubSpot reporting.
Does a paid seat get used up?
Probably, yes. On accounts using HubSpot's seats model, every user on a Starter, Professional or Enterprise subscription is assigned a seat, and the seat decides which tools they can reach. View-Only Seats are free and unlimited, but someone on one can't change settings, manage tools, or create or edit content — so a View-Only Seat won't let us do the work. Editing forms and pages needs at least a Core Seat, which your subscription may charge for. Sales, Service and Revenue Seats are separate, and website work doesn't need them. Adding or removing seats can affect your bill, so check the cost in your account before you invite us.
