Giving Chykalophia access

Give us Shopify collaborator access

How to securely grant our team access to your Shopify store so we can build, design, and optimize your e-commerce presence.

Shopify is a robust e-commerce platform that handles everything from inventory to checkout. To design your theme, install necessary apps, or optimize your store for higher conversions, we need to connect our agency dashboard to your store.

Quick summary

Shopify uses a highly secure "Collaborator" system. Instead of you inviting us, we will send an access request to your store. You will receive an email from Shopify to review and approve the permissions we requested. If your store requires a 4-digit Collaborator Request Code, you will need to share that code with your project lead first.

Step-by-step instructions

Beginner 3 minutes

Shopify's Collaborator feature is the gold standard for delegate access. It ensures our agency accounts are kept separate from your internal staff limits and protects your ownership.

Find your Collaborator Request Code (if enabled). Log in to Shopify. Go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom left) → Users and permissions. Scroll down to the Collaborators section. If "Only people with a collaborator request code can send a collaborator request" is checked, copy the 4-digit code.

Send us the code and store URL. In ClickUp, share your 4-digit code (if applicable) and your .myshopify.com URL.

We send the request. Our team will initiate the request from our Chykalophia agency dashboard.

Review our request. You will receive an email from Shopify saying "Chykalophia is requesting access to your store." Click the link in the email to review it.

Approve access. Review the requested permissions. We typically request access to Themes, Apps, Products, and Settings to effectively build and optimize your store. Click Accept request.
