Websites are built on different platforms, and the day-to-day instructions are completely different for each. This page points you at the right set of guides — and helps you work out which one you have if you're not sure.

WordPress
The most common platform we build on. Pages, posts, plugins, users and settings.
Shopify
A dedicated online store platform. Products, orders, themes and apps.
Webflow
A visual site builder. Editing content and publishing changes.
Squarespace
An all-in-one website builder. Editing pages, images and settings.
Add-ons for WordPress sites
These only apply if your site is WordPress. If you're not sure whether you have them, you probably don't need them.
WooCommerce
The shop built into a WordPress site — products, orders, shipping and tax.
Elementor
A drag-and-drop page builder that sits inside WordPress.
How to tell which one you have
The fastest check is your login screen — the address you use to edit your own site.

Other quick tells:
- WordPress — a dark toolbar across the top of your site when you're logged in.
- Shopify — an "Orders / Products / Customers" menu down the left.
- Webflow — an "Editor" button, and changes go live only when you press Publish.
- Squarespace — a menu down the left side of the screen, and an Edit button at the top left of the page; after clicking it, you change things by clicking directly on the page.
