Cloudflare is a powerful tool that acts as a secure shield and speed-booster (CDN) for your website. If your site's traffic routes through Cloudflare, we need access to manage your DNS records, clear the cache during development, and configure security protocols.
Quick summary
Log in to Cloudflare, select your account, and go to Manage Account → Members. Select Invite, enter support@chykalophia.com, and choose the Administrator role. Administrator can't manage members or your billing profile, so your account stays yours. You need the Super Administrator role yourself to invite anyone.
Step-by-step instructions
Log in to Cloudflare. Go to dash.cloudflare.com and sign in.
Open the Members page. Go to Manage Account → Members. You need the Super Administrator role on the account to manage members, and a verified email address.
Invite a member. Select Invite.
Enter our email. Type support@chykalophia.com into the Invite members field.
Select the Administrator role. Under Roles, choose Administrator. This role is required so we can adjust DNS settings, manage caching rules, and configure SSL certificates. It cannot manage members or your billing profile, though Cloudflare does list it as able to edit subscriptions.
Send the invitation. Select Continue to summary, review the details, and then select Invite. We will receive an email to securely join your Cloudflare account.
Common questions
Why do you need the Administrator role instead of just 'DNS'?
While editing DNS is a big part of what we do, we also need to purge the cache (so you can instantly see the design updates we make) and set up Cloudflare's Cache Rules and Configuration Rules to keep your site fast. The Administrator role provides the exact mix of technical control we need to architect a high-performing site.
How do I remove your access later?
Return to Manage Account → Members, find our email address in the list and expand the record, then click Revoke and confirm with Yes, revoke access.
