How to invite Chykalophia as a collaborator to your Flywheel site to manage backups, staging, and performance.

Flywheel is a powerful managed WordPress hosting platform. To ensure your website remains fast, secure, and fully optimized, we need to be added as a collaborator to your Flywheel site.

Quick summary

Log in to your Flywheel dashboard and click the site you want us on. Find the collaborator list on that site's dashboard, click + Add Collaborators, and invite support@chykalophia.com. We will accept the invitation and securely attach it to our agency dashboard.

Step-by-step instructions

Flywheel's "Collaborator" feature is a perfect example of delegate access. It allows us to manage your technical environment without ever seeing your billing details or requiring your personal password. Flywheel adds collaborators to one site at a time.

Log in to Flywheel. Go to app.getflywheel.com and sign in to your account.

Select your site. Every site you own or collaborate on is listed on your dashboard homepage. Click the site you want us to manage to open its own dashboard.

Open Add Collaborators. On that site's dashboard, find the list of collaborators and click the + Add Collaborators button beneath it.

Send the invitation. Type support@chykalophia.com. (Flywheel also accepts a name or a Flywheel username here, but our email address is the safest thing to use.)

Let us know. Flywheel emails us to say we've been invited. Drop a quick note in your ClickUp task so we know the invitation is waiting for us!

Common questions

Will you be able to see my credit card or billing details?

No. A Flywheel collaborator can do most of what the site owner can do, including managing the site's settings, its database and its files over SFTP. Billing is not one of them. Flywheel is explicit that collaborators cannot "manage the billing of the site, delete or cancel a site, reset a site to default, change the name of the site, or view Managed Plugin Update settings."

One thing worth knowing: a collaborator can add and remove other collaborators on that site, and add domains to it. So only invite people you trust with the site itself.

I have multiple sites on my Flywheel account. Do you get access to all of them?

No. By using the method above, you are only inviting us to collaborate on that specific site. If you want us to manage multiple sites, you will need to add us as a collaborator to each one individually.

How do I remove your access when the project is done?

Go back to the collaborator list on your Flywheel site, hover over the three-dot menu next to our name, and click Remove. Your site stays exactly as it is, and we lose the ability to view or manage it, including over SFTP.
