Give us access to your ActiveCampaign account
How to add us as a user in ActiveCampaign so we can connect forms, build automations, and wire your website into your email marketing.

ActiveCampaign combines email marketing, marketing automation, and a light CRM. When we connect your website to it — form submissions creating contacts, purchases triggering follow-up sequences — we need a user account rather than just an API key.
Quick summary
Log in to ActiveCampaign, go to Settings → Users and Groups, click Add a new user, enter support@chykalophia.com, and assign a group with permission to manage automations, forms, and lists. ActiveCampaign reserves a handful of account settings — Integrations among them — for the admin group, so tell us which group you used and we'll say if anything is out of reach.
Step-by-step instructions
Log in to ActiveCampaign. Sign in at your account URL — it looks like
youraccount.activehosted.com.
Open Settings. Click the gear icon in the main navigation.
Go to Users and Groups. Choose Users and Groups from the left menu, then click Add a new user.
Enter our details. Fill in the fields in the window that appears, using support@chykalophia.com as our email address.
Assign a permissions group. Under Group, pick one that can manage Automations, Forms, and Lists. ActiveCampaign keeps some account settings — including Integrations, Domains, and Site Tracking — for the admin group only, so if we're wiring up your website we may need to be in that group. If you only have the default groups, choose the closest match and we'll tell you if something is inaccessible.
Add the user. Click Add user to finish.
Tell us. Post in your ClickUp task once we've been added.
Your plan limits how many users you get
How many users you can have depends on your plan, and the entry-level plans include a single user — check activecampaign.com/pricing for what yours includes. You can buy extra seats, but if you'd rather not, share the login using our secure password guide instead.
Common questions
Can you see or export my contact list?
A user account with access to Lists can view contacts, yes. If that concerns you, ActiveCampaign's group permissions let you restrict which lists a user can see. Tell us what we're allowed to touch and we'll work within it — we only ever need the lists tied to the integration we're building.
Do you need the API key as well?
Usually yes, and it's separate. The API URL and key live under Settings → Developer. Your website uses them to push contacts into ActiveCampaign. Share the key via Onetime Secret, not email.
Worth knowing: every user in an ActiveCampaign account has their own API URL and key, and deleting that user breaks anything built on their credentials. So if you ever remove us, tell us first and we'll move your site onto a key that will outlast us.
Will connecting my site start emailing people automatically?
No campaigns go out on their own. Connecting a form creates or updates contacts, and campaigns or sequences only send when an automation is switched on — we'll always confirm with you before activating anything that sends to real contacts. One email is automatic, though: ActiveCampaign sets forms for email marketing lists to double opt-in by default, so a new subscriber is sent a confirmation link and can't be emailed until they click it.
What about consent and unsubscribes?
Anyone added through a website form needs a lawful basis to be emailed. We build forms with an explicit opt-in where marketing consent is required. See data privacy basics and GDPR basics.
