Give us access to your Namecheap account
How to securely grant us access to manage your domains or hosting in Namecheap without sharing your password.

If your domain name is registered with Namecheap, we will need access to configure your DNS records so your domain correctly points to your new website and email systems.
Quick summary
Namecheap uses a feature called Share Access. Log in to your account, go to the Domain List, click Manage next to your domain, open the Sharing & Transfer tab, and find the Share Access section. Enter support@chykalophia.com in the New Manager field, click Add, and choose the settings we're allowed to edit.
Step-by-step instructions
Using Namecheap's Share Access feature is the most secure way to collaborate: you keep control of the domain, and the manager you add only sees the settings you allow.
We need our own Namecheap account
Namecheap can only share a domain with an existing Namecheap user, so the email address you add has to have its own Namecheap account. Your project lead will confirm the address to use. Only the domain owner can share access, and an expired domain has to be renewed first.
Log in to Namecheap. Go to Namecheap.com and sign in.
Go to your Domain List. From the left-hand sidebar, select Domain List.
Manage your domain. Click the Manage button next to the specific domain you want us to work on.
Find Share Access. Choose the Sharing & Transfer tab from the top menu and find the Share Access section.
Enter our details. Type support@chykalophia.com into the New Manager field and click Add.
Set permissions. Namecheap now shows the settings your new manager is allowed to edit. Please include the DNS settings so we can point your domain at your website and email, plus anything else your project lead asks for. There's no need to share everything.
Confirm the invitation. Namecheap asks you to enter your own account password to confirm the change. An invitation is then emailed to our team, and the link stays active for 7 days. (If we have automatic acceptance switched on at our end, the domain appears in our account right away.)
Common questions
Can you buy new domains using my credit card?
No. Share Access only covers the one domain you shared, and only the settings you ticked. It doesn't give us your Namecheap login or your billing profile, and the domain stays in your account. You can change what we can edit, or remove our access entirely, from the same Sharing & Transfer tab.
What if I have Namecheap hosting as well?
If you also use Namecheap for your website hosting (cPanel), sharing domain access does not automatically grant us hosting access. You will need to share your cPanel credentials via a secure link.
