You’ll need
Your MyKinsta login · Company Owner or Company Administrator access

Kinsta is a managed WordPress hosting platform that uses the MyKinsta dashboard. To manage your hosting environment — working with staging environments, backups, caching, and site configuration — we need to be added to your MyKinsta account.

Quick summary

Log in to MyKinsta and invite support@chykalophia.com (unless your project lead gave you a different address). When you invite someone you first choose Company access (your whole account) or Site access (only the sites you pick). Pick Company Administrator or Site administrator. We'll accept the invitation by email.

What you'll need

  • Your MyKinsta login. Only Company Owners and Company Administrators can invite someone at company level; a Company Developer can only add users to a site.
  • The email address for our team: support@chykalophia.com

Understanding Kinsta's two access types

When you invite a user, your first choice is company access or site access:

Company access

Covers your whole Kinsta account. Best if we are managing all of your hosting.

Roles: Company Administrator, Company Developer, Company Billing (billing details only, no sites)

Site access

Limits access to the specific sites you pick. Choose this if you want to keep other sites on the account private.

Roles: Site administrator, Site developer

There is also a single Company Owner per account. Only they can cancel a plan, ask for the account to be closed, or hand ownership to a Company Administrator, so nobody can be invited into that role.

For most projects, Company access with the Company Administrator role is the most practical option. If you have concerns, talk to your project lead.

A MyKinsta user is not a WordPress user. MyKinsta users only control access inside MyKinsta, so inviting us here does not log us into your WordPress dashboard — that is a separate invitation. See give us WordPress admin access.

Option A: Add us as a company user

Log in to MyKinsta. Go to my.kinsta.com and sign in.

Open Company settings. From the dashboard, click Company settings. You can also get there by clicking your username and choosing Company settings.

Go to Users. Under Company settings, click Users.

Start the invitation. Click Invite users.

Enter our email. Type support@chykalophia.com in the email field — unless your project lead gave you a different address.

Choose Company, then the role. Select Company, and pick Company Administrator from the three company roles.

Send the invite. Click Send invite. We'll receive an email and confirm once we've accepted.

Let us know. Drop a note in your ClickUp task or email us so we know to check for the invitation.

Option B: Add us to one site only

Use this option if you only want us to access specific sites.

Log in to MyKinsta at my.kinsta.com.

Open your site. Go to your sites list in the left-hand menu — Kinsta's documentation calls it both Sites and WordPress Sites — and select the site you want to share.

Go to User management. On the site, open User management.

Start the invitation. Click Invite users.

Enter our email and role. Type support@chykalophia.com and choose Site administrator from the dropdown.

Send the invitation. Click Invite users and let us know it's on its way.

Don't forget staging

A site's staging environments belong to that site, and a Site administrator has control of all of its environments — so site-level access covers staging too. But if staging is set up as a separate site, invite us to that one too.

How to remove our access later

When the project is complete, go to Company settings → Users (or the site's User management page), find our name in the list, and click the trash icon. You can do this at any time.

One thing Kinsta points out: removing a user does not automatically revoke API keys they used, and it does not reset database or SSH/SFTP passwords. If you want a clean break, review Company settings → API keys as well and regenerate those passwords.

Common questions

What's the difference between the Company Administrator and Company Developer roles?

Company Administrator is the highest level of access: full control of all company data and all sites, including migration requests. Company Developer can manage all sites and DNS and add site-level users, but does not see billing details or migration requests, and cannot change company-level users.

We recommend Company Administrator so we're never blocked mid-project. Be aware that it does include access to your billing details and plan — if you'd rather keep billing to yourself, ask us to take Company Developer or site-level access instead. Either way, only the Company Owner can cancel a plan.

Is it safe to give Chykalophia company-level access?

Yes. We operate professionally and remove ourselves after projects are complete. You can also revoke our access at any time. For more detail, read how we keep your logins safe.

I can't find the Users section. What should I do?

Only Company Owners and Company Administrators can add users at company level, so if you are a Company Developer you will only be able to add us to a site. Check with whoever set up the Kinsta account. If you're the Company Owner and still can't find it, contact Kinsta support or email us and we'll guide you through it. Note that Kinsta's own support team can't add users to a company or site on your behalf.

Can I share just the login instead?

We prefer being invited as a named user. It's more secure, easier to revoke, and creates a clear audit log. See delegate access vs. sharing a password for more on why.

I have multiple websites under one Kinsta account. Do you need access to all of them?

Only the ones we are actively working on. If you prefer, use site-level access (Option B) to limit our view to just the relevant sites.

Need a hand?

If you're stuck, email support@chykalophia.com and we'll help. Include your website address and a screenshot if you can.
