Give us access to your WP Engine hosting
How to add Chykalophia as a user on your WP Engine account so we can manage your hosting environment.
WP Engine is a popular managed WordPress hosting platform. To work on your site's hosting environment — managing backups, staging, caching, or deployments — we need access to your WP Engine account.
Quick summary
Log in to your WP Engine User Portal, go to Users, and invite support@chykalophia.com (unless your project lead gave you a different address) as a new user. Choose the Owner or Full Access role so we can do our work. We'll receive an email invitation and confirm once we're in.
What you'll need
Beginner 5 minutes- Access to your WP Engine account (you need to be an Owner or have permission to manage users)

About WP Engine user roles
WP Engine lets you add other people to your account with different levels of access. Here is a quick overview:
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access to everything, including billing |
| Full Access | Can manage sites, installs, backups, and staging — but cannot change billing |
| Partial Access | Restricted to specific installs you choose |
We typically need Full Access or Owner to do our work effectively. If you are unsure, ask your project lead.
Add Chykalophia to your WP Engine account
Go to the WP Engine User Portal. Open your browser and navigate to my.wpengine.com. Sign in with your username and password.
Open account settings. In the top-right corner of the portal, click your account name or the profile icon. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Go to the Users section. On the Settings page, look for the Users tab or section in the left-hand menu. Click it.
Invite a new user. Click the Invite User button (or Add User, depending on your portal version).
Enter our email address. Type support@chykalophia.com in the email field — unless your project lead gave you a different address.
Choose the access level. Select Full Access or Owner as the role. If you are only comfortable granting access to a specific site install, choose Partial Access and select the correct install from the list.
Send the invitation. Click Send Invite or Submit. WP Engine will email our team with a link to accept the invitation.
Let us know. Drop a note in your ClickUp task or send us an email so we know to look for the invitation.
All done!
Once we accept the invitation, we'll appear in your Users list. You'll see our email address and role on that page.
If you're granting access to a specific install only
Some WP Engine plans use a multi-install setup — meaning you have more than one WordPress site under one account. If you only want us to access one particular site (called an "install"), choose Partial Access in step 6 above and check the box next to the correct install name.
Easy to miss
If your site has a staging environment (a test copy of your site), make sure to include the staging install in the access grant too. We often need to work in both places.
How to remove our access later
When your project is complete, you can remove us at any time. Go back to Settings → Users, find our email address in the list, and click Remove or the delete icon next to our name. You are always in control.
