Give us access to your Brevo account
How to invite us to Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) so we can configure transactional email, SMTP, sending domains, and marketing campaigns.

- Your Brevo login
Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) handles two jobs that are easy to confuse: transactional email — receipts, password resets, form notifications sent by your website — and marketing email — newsletters and campaigns. We usually need access for the first, and often for both.
Quick summary
Log in to app.brevo.com, click the account dropdown and choose Settings → Users, click Add users, enter support@chykalophia.com, and give us access to the features we're working on. The account owner seat stays yours.
Step-by-step instructions
Log in to Brevo. Go to app.brevo.com and sign in with the account that owns the subscription.
Open user settings. Click the account dropdown and select Settings → Users.
Invite our email address. Click Add users (older accounts say Add a user), enter support@chykalophia.com, and click Continue.
Choose the right permissions. Choose Custom permissions — that's the option that lets you grant access feature by feature. For website email work we need Transactional emails, Senders, domains, and dedicated IPs, and SMTP & API. Add the marketing features — email campaigns, templates, automations — and Contacts only if we're also running your marketing email. Brevo won't accept general features on their own, though, so even for transactional-only work you'll have to include at least one marketing or sales permission: pick the narrowest one you're comfortable with.
Send the invitation. We'll accept it with our own 2FA-protected login and confirm in your ClickUp task.
Free and Starter plans are single-user
On Brevo's Free and Starter plans the owner is the only user the account allows, so there's no seat to invite us into. Check brevo.com/pricing for what your plan includes. If you're on one of those plans, share the login using our secure password guide instead.
Sending domains need DNS records
Before Brevo will send as your domain, it needs its own records added to your domain's DNS: a Brevo verification code, DKIM, and DMARC. (An SPF record isn't part of Brevo's domain authentication — Brevo only asks for one when you set up a dedicated IP.) Changing DNS is a separate permission from your Brevo account — see DNS access and SPF, DKIM and DMARC explained.
Common questions
Can you read my contact list or send campaigns?
Only if you grant those permissions. Brevo's permissions are granular: Transactional emails, SMTP & API, and Senders, domains, and dedicated IPs are enough for us to configure your website's email, and none of them lets us send a campaign. One catch — Brevo won't accept those general permissions on their own, so you have to add at least one marketing or sales permission as well. Pick the narrowest one you're comfortable with and tell us; we'll stay inside what you granted.
Why not just use an SMTP API key instead of a user account?
An API key is what your website actually uses to send mail, and we will generate one. But a key alone gives no visibility — we couldn't see bounce logs, domain authentication status, or why a message failed. A user account is what lets us diagnose delivery problems.
Is Brevo a replacement for Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?
No. Brevo sends mail from your website and campaigns; it doesn't host your mailbox. Its Conversations inbox can connect a Google, Microsoft or other mailbox you already have, so a team can read and reply from inside Brevo — but the mailbox itself still lives with your email provider. You still need professional email for your day-to-day inbox.
How do I remove your access later?
Open Settings → Users, select our user, and click Revoke access. If we created an SMTP or API key for your site, don't delete that at the same time — the site uses it to send mail. See revoking access after a project.
