ClickUp is a project management tool — a shared digital workspace where Chykalophia and you can see, discuss, and track all the work on your project in one place.
Quick summary
ClickUp is where your project lives. It's how we assign tasks, share designs for review, collect feedback, and keep you informed of progress. You don't need any technical knowledge to use it.
Why we use ClickUp
Before tools like ClickUp, project communication happened across scattered emails, text threads, and phone calls. Things got lost, decisions weren't documented, and it was hard to see the full picture of a project at a glance.
ClickUp solves this by keeping everything in one place:
- Tasks — every piece of work is a task with a clear owner, status, and due date
- Comments — conversations happen inside the relevant task, not in a separate email thread
- Files — designs, documents, and images are attached directly to the task they belong to
- Status — you can see at any moment what's done, what's in progress, and what's next
What you'll use ClickUp for
As a client, your main uses for ClickUp will be:
- Reviewing designs and deliverables when we share them with you
- Leaving feedback and asking questions on specific tasks
- Formally approving work before we move forward
- Submitting requests for new work or changes
- Tracking the overall progress of your project
Do I need to know how to use ClickUp before I start?
No. We'll walk you through everything you need when we invite you. This section of the help center covers everything from signing in to submitting requests — step by step.
Is ClickUp free for me to use?
Yes. You'll be invited to our ClickUp workspace as a guest at no cost to you. You don't need your own ClickUp subscription.
Common questions
Is ClickUp safe? Will my project information be secure?
Yes. ClickUp is widely used, and its security is independently audited: it holds SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 certifications, among others (see ClickUp's security page). Our workspace is private. Only people we invite can get in, and as a guest you only see the items we share with you.
Can I use ClickUp on my phone?
Yes. ClickUp has a mobile app for iOS and Android devices. See Using ClickUp on your phone for setup instructions.
What if I already use a different project management tool?
We use ClickUp as our standard tool for managing client projects. While we understand you may have your own tools internally, ClickUp is where we run the project — it's the most reliable way to ensure nothing gets missed.
I don't want to learn a new tool. Is there an alternative?
We understand — new tools take adjustment. Most clients find ClickUp straightforward after a day or two of use. If you genuinely struggle, email us at support@chykalophia.com and we'll find ways to help. For simple projects, we can keep communication in email, though ClickUp is strongly preferred.
