Working with pages
How to navigate between pages in your Webflow site and understand how pages are structured and managed.
Your Webflow site is made up of multiple pages — your homepage, about page, contact page, and more. This guide explains how pages work and how to navigate between them in the Editor.
Quick summary
In the Webflow Editor, navigate between pages using your site's normal navigation (menus, links), just as a visitor would. The Editor toolbar travels with you. Most page creation and deletion is handled by Chykalophia in the Designer — but you can edit content on any page through the Editor.
Types of pages in Webflow
Webflow has three main types of pages:
Static pages — fixed pages like your homepage, About, Services, and Contact. The structure is designed once and you edit the content. Examples: /about, /contact, /services/web-design.
CMS Collection pages — dynamic pages that are generated from your CMS data. For example, if you have a blog, each blog post lives on its own automatically generated page. You don't create these pages individually — you add CMS items instead. See The Webflow CMS, explained.
Utility pages — special pages like your 404 error page, password page, or search results page. These are set up by Chykalophia and rarely need editing.
Navigating to a page in the Editor
The easiest way to navigate between pages in the Editor is to use your site's own navigation:
Open the Editor. The Editor toolbar appears at the top or bottom of your screen.
Click the menu items or links on the page, just as a visitor would. The Editor travels with you as you move between pages.
Alternatively, use the Pages panel in the Editor. Some Editor versions have a small Pages icon in the toolbar. Click it to see a list of all pages and jump directly to one.
Viewing all pages
To see a full list of all pages on your site, you can:
- Look for a "Pages" option in the Editor toolbar
- Open the Designer (if you have access) and look at the Pages panel on the left side — this shows every page, including drafts and hidden pages
If you can't find a page you're looking for, ask Chykalophia.
Adding new pages
Adding a new page is done in the Designer — it's not available in the Editor. If you need a new page created, submit a request to Chykalophia. Let us know:
- The name and URL of the new page (e.g.,
/our-team) - What content it should contain
- Whether it should appear in your navigation menu
Editing SEO settings for a page
Each page has its own SEO title and meta description. To edit these, see SEO settings in Webflow.
