Finding & managing form submissions
Where to find your Webflow form submissions, how to view individual entries, and how to export them as a spreadsheet.
Every time someone fills out a form on your website, their submission is saved in Webflow. This guide shows you where to find those entries and how to export them.
Quick summary
Form submissions are stored in your Webflow project. You can view them in your Webflow Dashboard under your project's settings, or directly in the Editor. You can also export all submissions as a CSV file (spreadsheet).

How to view form submissions
Log in to webflow.com. Go to your Dashboard.
Click on your project. Open the project card.
Go to Project Settings. Look for a settings gear icon on the project or in the project overview.
Click the 'Forms" tab. You'll see a list of all forms on your site and the submissions they've received.
Click on a form to see its submissions. You can click individual submissions to view the full entry.
Open the Editor for your site.
Look for the Forms icon in the Editor toolbar. It may look like an envelope or a form icon.
Click it to see recent submissions. You can browse submissions from within the Editor interface.
What a submission contains
Each submission shows:
- The date and time it was received
- The values for each form field (name, email, message, etc.)
- Any custom fields on the form
You can't edit submissions — they're a record of what the visitor entered.
Exporting submissions
If you want to work with your submissions in a spreadsheet (to track leads, respond to enquiries, etc.), you can export them as a CSV file.
Go to Project Settings → Forms tab.
Select the form you want to export.
Look for an Export button or CSV option. Click it to download all submissions as a CSV file.
Open the CSV in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet app.
A CSV (comma-separated values) file is a plain-text format that opens in any spreadsheet application. Each row is one submission; each column is one form field.
Marking submissions as read
Webflow marks new submissions as unread (bold). Once you've viewed a submission, it's marked as read. This helps you keep track of what you've seen and what still needs attention.
Best practices for managing form submissions
- Check submissions daily — especially if you rely on your contact form for new business.
- Export regularly — keep a backup copy of all submissions in a spreadsheet.
- Don't rely only on email notifications — check the Dashboard directly, especially if notifications are going to spam.
- Set up a CRM integration — if you get many enquiries, ask Chykalophia to connect your form to a CRM like HubSpot or a tool like Zapier to route submissions automatically.
