How to read your Chykalophia project roadmap, what each section means, and how to stay oriented throughout your project.
Your project roadmap is a living document that shows you where your project is, where it's going, and what's expected of you at each stage. This guide explains how to read it and what to do with it.
Quick summary
Your roadmap lives in ClickUp. It breaks your project into phases, shows which tasks are complete, in progress, or upcoming, and flags where your input is needed. Check it regularly to stay oriented.
Where to find your roadmap
Your roadmap lives in ClickUp, the project management tool we share with you. When you log in, look for the space or project named after your business. The roadmap is typically the top-level view of your project.

What the roadmap shows
Your roadmap is divided into phases that match the stages of your project:
| Phase | What's happening |
|---|---|
| Discovery & Strategy | Research, kickoff calls, goal-setting |
| Design | Wireframes, visual design, feedback rounds |
| Development | Building the site, integrations, testing |
| Launch | Final review, go-live, handoff |
| Ongoing (if applicable) | Maintenance, updates, growth work |
Within each phase, you'll see individual tasks. Each task has a status that tells you its current state.
Understanding task statuses
Watch for 'Waiting on Client'
Tasks with a "Waiting on Client" status mean the project is paused until we hear from you. These are the most important ones to act on quickly to keep your project on schedule.
What you need to do
Most of the time, your job is to review and respond when you're asked. Here's a simple checklist:
- Check ClickUp regularly (we recommend every 1–2 business days during active project phases)
- Open any tasks marked "In Review" or "Waiting on Client"
- Leave your feedback or approval as a comment on the task
- Ask questions in the task comments rather than a separate email — it keeps everything in context
