How to log in to Shopify
Step-by-step instructions for logging in to your Shopify admin on a computer or phone, plus what to do if you cannot get in.
Your Shopify admin is the back end of your store — it is where you manage products, orders, settings, and everything else. This guide shows you how to access it.
Quick summary
Go to your store's admin URL (it ends in .myshopify.com/admin), enter your email and password, and you are in. You can also use the Shopify mobile app to manage your store on the go.
What you'll need

How to log in on a computer
Open your browser and go to your admin URL. It looks like this: https://your-store-name.myshopify.com/admin
If you do not know your store name, check your welcome email from Shopify, or ask us.
Enter your email address — the one you used when the store was created or when you were added as a staff member.
Enter your password and click Log in.
Complete two-step verification if prompted. Shopify may ask for a code from an authenticator app or a code sent to your phone. Enter the code and click Verify.
You are now in your Shopify admin. The home page shows a summary of recent orders, sales, and activity.
How to log in on your phone
You can use the Shopify mobile app instead of a browser on your phone. It is designed for managing your store on the go.
Download the Shopify app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). Search for "Shopify."
Open the app and tap Log in.
Enter your store URL when prompted. This is your .myshopify.com address.
Enter your email and password, then complete two-step verification if required.
The app vs the browser
The Shopify mobile app is great for checking orders and fulfilling shipments on the go. For adding products, editing your theme, or changing settings, the full browser version on a computer is easier to use.
Bookmark your admin URL
Save your admin URL as a browser bookmark so you do not have to type it every time. In most browsers, press Ctrl+D (Windows) or Cmd+D (Mac) to bookmark the current page.
If you cannot log in
Giving Chykalophia access
If you need to give us access to your store — for example, so we can make changes or troubleshoot — do not share your password. Instead, use the Shopify collaborator access system. It is more secure and you can remove our access any time.
