Troubleshooting

Info to gather before contacting support

The details that help our team diagnose and fix your issue as quickly as possible — a checklist to run through before reaching out.

troubleshootingbeginnergetting-started

When you contact us about a problem, the more information you include upfront, the faster we can help. Every question we have to ask you costs time. This checklist shows you exactly what to gather before you reach out.

Quick summary

The golden three: the URL of the page where the problem occurs, a screenshot of the error, and when it started. Include those three things in every support request and you'll save significant back-and-forth.

The universal checklist

Every support request benefits from these details, regardless of the type of problem:

  1. The URL of the page or section where the problem occurs
  2. A screenshot of what you're seeing — see how to take a screenshot
  3. When the problem started — approximate date and time
  4. What changed recently — plugin updates, edits, a new member joining, anything
  5. What you've already tried — hard refresh, different browser, cache clear, etc.
  6. Which browser and device you're using (Chrome on Mac, Safari on iPhone, etc.)
