Logging in to MyKinsta
Step-by-step instructions for logging in to MyKinsta, accessing your site dashboard, and getting into WordPress admin.

MyKinsta is Kinsta's hosting control panel. It's where you manage your site, backups, SSL, staging, and analytics. Here's how to access it.
Quick summary
Log in to MyKinsta at my.kinsta.com with your email, your password and a six-digit verification code. Go to Sites and click your site name to manage it. You can open WordPress admin straight from the site's Info page.
What you'll need
- A MyKinsta account (your own, or one where you've been added as a user)
- Your email and password for that account
- Access to that email inbox, or to your authenticator app if you've set one up, for the verification code
How to log in
Go to the MyKinsta login page. Open your browser and navigate to my.kinsta.com.
Enter your email and password for your MyKinsta account, and log in.
Enter the six-digit verification code. Kinsta asks for one each time you log in with a MyKinsta account, unless you've told it to trust your device (see below). It's emailed to you, or shown in your authenticator app if you've switched to one.
Go to Sites and click your site name. This opens the management page for that specific site.
If you've forgotten your password
Go to my.kinsta.com.
Click "Forgot password" on the login page.
Enter your email and click Reset password.
Check your email for a message titled "Password reset in MyKinsta" and follow its instructions.
Accessing WordPress admin from MyKinsta
Log in to MyKinsta and open your site.
Go to the site's Info page. You'll find two buttons there: Log in to WP Admin and Visit WP Admin.
Click Log in to WP Admin to be signed in automatically. Kinsta calls this auto-login, and it's on by default. If WordPress has no user with your MyKinsta email address, MyKinsta offers to create a new administrator account for you. To use the normal WordPress login page instead, click Visit WP Admin and sign in with your WordPress username and password.
Two-factor authentication
MyKinsta requires two-factor authentication (2FA) whenever you log in with a MyKinsta account. After your password, you enter a six-digit code. By default, Kinsta emails the code to you. You can switch to an authenticator app instead: click your username, choose User settings, and under Authenticator app click Enable.
If your company signs in through its own identity provider instead, that provider handles the extra verification and Kinsta doesn't ask for a code.
If you tick Don't ask for a code on this device, Kinsta won't ask again for 30 days, as long as you log in from the same browser and IP address.

Access as an invited user
If you've been added to a MyKinsta account by someone else:
- Check your email for an invitation from Kinsta.
- Click the link in the invitation. If you don't have a MyKinsta account yet, you'll sign up for one (or use single sign-on) first.
- Log in at
my.kinsta.com.

Common questions
I have multiple sites in MyKinsta — how do I switch between them?
Go to Sites to see the full list, then click any site name to open it. Go back to Sites whenever you want to switch.
Can I use Google login to access MyKinsta?
Kinsta gives you three ways in: a MyKinsta account (email and password); single sign-on through your company's identity provider, such as Okta, OneLogin or Google Workspace, if your company has set that up with Kinsta; or your GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket account.
What if my invitation email expired?
Contact us and we'll re-invite you, or ask the account owner to resend the invitation from the Users page in MyKinsta's company settings (or from the site's User management page).
