Kinsta billing & plans
An overview of Kinsta's hosting plans, how billing works, and how to manage your MyKinsta account billing.
Kinsta is a premium hosting platform with pricing to match. Here's what you need to understand about how plans and billing work, so there are no surprises.
Quick summary
Kinsta bills monthly or annually based on your plan tier. Plans are defined by the number of sites, monthly visits, storage, and additional features. Billing is managed in MyKinsta. If Chykalophia manages hosting for you, we handle the account and communicate costs to you.
How Kinsta plans work
Kinsta's WordPress hosting plans define:
- Number of WordPress sites — how many sites are included.
- Monthly visits — the traffic your sites can receive in total across the plan.
- SSD storage — combined disk space for all sites.
- PHP workers — the number of simultaneous PHP processes (affects performance under load).
- CDN bandwidth — data served via Cloudflare CDN.
All plans include daily backups, free SSL, staging, 24/7 support, and the full MyKinsta dashboard.
For current plan names, features, and pricing, visit Kinsta's pricing page.
Monthly vs annual billing
| Option | How it works | Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | Charged each month | Flexible; easy to cancel |
| Annual | Charged once per year | Typically around two months free vs monthly |
We'll recommend the best billing cycle for your situation during onboarding.
Overage charges
Kinsta plans have visit and bandwidth limits. If you exceed them:
- Visit overages — additional charges per 1,000 visits above your plan limit.
- CDN bandwidth overages — additional charges per GB above your plan's CDN bandwidth.
We monitor usage on care plan clients and will alert you if you're approaching limits.
