Signing in to Microsoft 365
How to sign in to Microsoft 365 on a computer, phone, or tablet — including what to do if you can't get in.
Signing in to Microsoft 365 gives you access to your email, files, and apps — all in one place. You can sign in from any web browser, or from the apps installed on your device.
Quick summary
Go to microsoft365.com and sign in with your work email address (like you@yourcompany.com) and your password. If your organization uses multi-factor authentication, you will also need to approve the sign-in on your phone. Once in, you can access Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, and all your apps.

Signing in on a computer
Open your browser and go to microsoft365.com.
Click Sign in in the top right corner of the page.
Enter your work email address — for example, sarah@yourcompany.com. Click Next.
Enter your password and click Sign in.
If prompted, approve the sign-in on your phone. This happens if your organization has multi-factor authentication turned on. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app (or whatever method you set up) and approve the request.
You're in. You will land on the Microsoft 365 home page, where you can see all your apps.
You're signed in
Once signed in, you can click any app — Outlook, Word, OneDrive, Teams — to open it. Your session stays active for a while, so you won't need to sign in again every time you open a new tab.
Signing in on your phone
Download the Microsoft 365 app from the App Store, or download individual apps like Outlook, OneDrive, or Teams. Open the app and sign in with your work email address and password. Approve the multi-factor authentication prompt if it appears.

Signing in to the admin center
If you are an admin and need to manage your organization's accounts, sign in at admin.microsoft.com. Use the same work email and password, but this takes you directly to the admin dashboard rather than the regular Microsoft 365 home page.
