Content brief template
A fill-in template for briefing Chykalophia on a specific page or piece of content — use one brief per page or article.
Great content doesn't happen by accident. It starts with a clear brief — a short document that tells the writer (or designer) what the page needs to do, who it's for, and what it should say.
Use one content brief per page or piece of content. A brief for your Home page is different from a brief for your Services page, which is different from a blog post brief.
Quick summary
Copy this brief for every page or content piece you need us to write or build. Fill in what you know — even partial answers point us in the right direction. One brief per page, please. Send completed briefs to support@chykalophia.com or attach them to the relevant ClickUp task.
What you'll need
Beginner 15–25 minutes per pageHave your existing content (if any), a sense of the page's purpose, and any SEO keywords you're targeting handy before you start.
How to use this template
Copy the template below for each page or piece of content you need to brief us on.
Create one document per page. Don't combine multiple pages in one brief — it leads to confusion about what goes where.
Fill in what you know. You don't need to write the content yourself — that's our job. You're telling us the direction.
Attach existing content or examples. If you have copy you want us to keep, improve, or reference, include it as a link or attachment.
Send it to us. Attach it to the relevant task in ClickUp, or email it to support@chykalophia.com with the page name in the subject line.
One brief per page
Combining multiple pages in a single brief is one of the most common causes of missed requirements. Please use a separate copy of this template for each page or article.

Why each section matters
Purpose & goals
A page that tries to do everything ends up doing nothing. Defining one primary job — and one primary call to action — keeps the writing focused and the reader moving in a clear direction.
Audience
The same service can be described very differently for a nervous first-time buyer versus an experienced executive who knows exactly what they want. Knowing who we're writing for changes the words, the examples, and the level of detail.
Content requirements
Key messages ensure nothing important gets missed. SEO keywords help us write copy that ranks. Target length guides how much space we have to make the case. These parameters are the writer's map.
Reference material
Seeing what you've already written, what you like, and what you're trying to improve saves hours of back-and-forth. The more context we have, the closer the first draft will be to what you want.
